You are responsible for cleanup after your work session, including tools and returning them to their correct location. Used motor oil will be collected by the Lift Haus, as will brake fluid, transmission fluld and gear oil. Coolant will need to be disposed of in a separate waste system located on site.
Can I bring in my own tools?
Yes, Queen City Lift Haus allows customers to bring in their own tools. Rental rates include tools and lifts, even if some of the equipment isnt used.
Can I mount and balance my own tires?
Yes. Queen City Lift Haus will not dispose of used tires, the customer will have to dispose of properly.
Where can I get torque specs?
Mitchell 1 has partnered with Queen City Lift Haus to make available service data for every make and model. QR codes on the service desk or links on the website guide you to the login.
What are consumables, and are they provided?
Consumables are materials that cannt be used again, such as anti-seize, brake clean, glass cleaner, roloc disks, sand paper, or crush washers, to name a few. Queen City Lift Haus provides only the following consumables: Pumice soap for cleaning hands, and shop towels.
If I get stuck on a task or break a part, what should I do?
Service data, forums, YouTube and friends are your best bet. Between all 4 of those resources, someone out there has been in your shoes and can help you out. Queen City Lift Haus cannot provide advice or guideance due to liability reasons.
